Marketing Intern

Internship available for all semesters and is open to both high school and college students.  Schedule is flexible with a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per week.  Must be able to work with little supervision.    

Intern will assist with upcoming fundraisers such as a Silent Auction, Golf Tournament, Casino Night and summer festivals.  The internship is the perfect opportunity to build your resume for business and politics majors.  Responsibilities include weekly meetings with organization representative, bulk mailing preparation, marketing/literature development. 

Event Coordinator

Internship includes both summer and fall semesters and is open to college students.  Intern will be the event coordinator for fall golf tournament.  Must have computer access, and own transportation. Flexible work hours and environment with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.   Must be able to work with little supervision and be comfortable calling sponsors and community organizations.   

Intern will be the event coordinator for fall golf tournament and other events as planned.  The internship is the perfect opportunity to build your resume for business and politics majors.  Responsibilities include:  Weekly meetings with organization representative, bulk mailing preparation, marketing/literature development, event planning, coordination of contests during the event, and solicitation of silent auction items.  Willing to travel to Pennsylvania for event preferred.

Grant Campaign Assistant

Internship available for all semesters and is open to college students.  Flexible work hours and environment with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.   Must have computer access, be able to work with little supervision and be comfortable calling community foundations.   

The Grant Campaign Assistant will assist with all aspects of the 2005 grant campaign from proposal development to follow up with the foundations.  Responsibilities include:  Weekly meetings with organization representative, mailing preparation, online research, proposal development, and tracking of the grant applications.

We are looking for highly motivated students willing to work towards our vision of a camp for children with diabetes.  Candidates must be disciplined, organized, self starters willing to work in a flexible environment.
