O’Leary’s Clover Farm will open its doors to campers this November with a family weekend. The family weekend will run from the evening of Friday, November 16th through Sunday, the 18th at The Rocky Gap State Park outside of Cumberland, Maryland.
The weekend will provide families the opportunity to learn about O’Leary’s Clover Farm and our partner Setebaid Services. Children will have many opportunities to learn about managing diabetes through teachable moments that naturally occur while participating in fun-filled events. While children are engaged by camp counselors, parents will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions with doctors, dietitians and diabetes educators.
The location was chosen to service our core from Southwestern, PA but is positioned to draw families from across the Mid-Atlantic. Only a few hours from Pittsburgh, Washington DC and Philadelphia the location is beautifully positioned at the foot of the mountains along a picturesque lake.
Join us for the weekend to help support our families and enjoy the scenery! A Volunteer Preliminary Application is enclosed.

Sponsor O’Leary’s Clover Farm Family Weekend
Running a camp program, even a weekend retreat, is extremely expensive. O’Leary’s Clover Farm has the resources to take this next step due to the hard work and generosity of you, our supporters. In order to ensure we can continue the event every year and expand it to a week long summer camp program, the Camp Committee has undertaken the goal to raise $30,000 in 2007 to keep our current savings intact. This is a big goal, as we raised just over half of this amount in 2006.
Show your support by sponsoring the weekend event. Monies raised will help to keep costs low for campers and ensure we are able to continue our efforts in the years to come. All sponsors will be listed in the Weekend brochure
